BROADCASTING GOD'S LOVE 24/7 TO MILLIONS IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA
HOPE THROUGH
SATELLITE TELEVISION
Satellite TV remains the most effective way of reaching people with the Gospel in the Middle East region for a number of reasons:
- 85% of homes in the Middle East receive satellite TV channels
- Satellite TV is not censored or blocked by the authorities
- Uniquely powerful for reaching the illiterate
- Broadcasts directly into closed homes, so viewers can watch in privacy
SAT-7 broadcasts Christian content 24/7 to MILLIONS of viewers across four channels in Arabic, Persian, and Turkish.
ENCOURGAMENT THROUGH
VIEWER SUPPORT
SAT-7 seeks to meet the felt needs of viewers from all channels through Viewer Support Teams. These team members respond to those reaching out for help by coming alongside and providung encouragement, counselling, prayer, and other Christian resources to help viewers grow in their faith.
In 2021, more than 84,000 one-to-one conversation took place in support of viewers.
ENGAGING NEW AUDIENCES
THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA
SAT-7 recognizes the need to engage new and younger audiences through social media platforms and has launched several specialized pages, including pages for women and youth. These pages are safe spaces for online viewers to interact, ask questions, and have a voice.
SAT-7 Facebook pages had over 16 million engagements in 2021. YouTube channels had 3.1 million viewers per month in the same period.
INNOVATION THROUGH
VIDEO ON DEMAND
In response to the growth of online media consumption habits, SAT-7 strategically launched SAT-7 PLUS in February 2021 - the first Christian multi-lingual streaming service and video on demand platform in the Middle East and North Africa.
Viewers can now watch SAT-7 programs from all four channels anytime and anywhere on their tablet or smart phone using the SAT-7 PLUS app, or by visiting SAT7plus.org
