The Sound of Hope

he Sound of Hope is a live program presented by Iranian pastor Rev. Miltan Danil, who can empathize with viewers because he knows how it feels to hit rock bottom. He came from a dysfunctional home and had a troubled childhood; by the age of 17, Miltan was a heroin addict. This program reaches people on many levels.

You are Precious

Presenter and producer Samia Jallali Kessai and her film crew recorded 26 episodes of a women’s program called You Are Precious. It is in Arabic with Kabyle subtitles, making it accessible to different communities spread throughout Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania and Libya.

Truth X-Press

Studying Scripture is not just for pastors and teachers. Truth X-Press, a game show on SAT-7 ARABIC, is motivating young adults in their twenties to get into God’s Word. As the title suggests, Truth X-Press (in Arabic, Maarifa X-Press) is a fast-paced Bible quiz competition.

Transformation and Wholeness Programs

Tranformation and Wholeness demonstrates faith in action by addressing issues such as disability, literacy, vocational skills and micro enterprise, as well as programs that encourage peace and reconciliation.

Swamp

With a desire to address the widespread problem of drug use in Iran, a former child star in Iran, Omid Ahangar is writing and producing Swamp, a 13-episode social drama that considers the cost of addiction in society.

Stories in the Sand

An innovative program on SAT-7 KIDS tells Bible stories using the creative talents of Egypt’s first sand artist. In Stories in the Sand (in Arabic, “Ramleya fi Hekaya”), artist Michael Romany brings parables to life as he pours sand through his fingers and paints moving images on an lit up, glass table.

Smile

Smile aired its first episode in November 2013 with the topic, “You are special to Jesus.” Children learned that they are gifts from God and He has made them lovable. During the one-hour live show premiere, almost 300 children and parents called the studio!

Science and Faith

In its second season, Science and Faith, on SAT-7’s Farsi channel, helps viewers get to grips with the key issues regarding science and faith.

Needle and New Thread

When SAT-7 ARABIC launched Needle and Thread, its magazine show for young women, the goal was clear from the start. As Maggie Morgan, an award-winning Egyptian documentary and feature film maker, describes the series “This program seeks to present women that are fully alive. Women not only need to embrace their God-given identities, but to embrace them in full color.”

My School

Now, we are providing the hope that education offers through an “on-air school” for children who cannot go to a physical classroom.

More Precious than Pearls

This 40-minute talk show has been going strong since 2002. A recent series combined cartoon and film clip segments with live entertainment and discussions in the studio.

Men’s Talk

It’s a truism that Middle East societies are male-led and patriarchal. But how do you enable those men to lead well – to lead as people who will serve their families wisely and thoughtfully as well as seek to succeed in their own right? This is the target of Men’s Talk (Kalam Rjal in Arabic), SAT-7 ARABIC’s men’s magazine show which has just completed its sixth season.

Medicine and Life

Traumatized by war and unable to access healthcare, countless refugees across the MENA region cannot get the help they need to recover from the terrible ordeals they have suffered.

Me and My Daughter

Aya and her producer, director and actor father Hamid are the talents behind the new program Me and My Daughter, which will be aired on both SAT 7 KIDS and SAT 7 ARABIC. The program uses a range of segments to examine the relationship between a father and daughter, which includes some inevitable conflicts.

Little Painter

Little Painter, a Farsi language children’s program for 4- to 10-year-olds, premiered on SAT-7 PARS in the summer of 2016. The new show contributes to the team’s goal of launching a 24-hour internet children’s channel in Farsi.

Keep on Singing

SAT-7’s weekly worship program We Will Sing – a favorite of many viewers – has begun a new season with an updated format and a new name, Keep on Singing.

I Beg to Differ

You could help save a marriage, prevent a fight between neighbors, or even heal a divided church. Your support for SAT-7 enables the SAT-7 PARS channel to air a new program teaching Farsi speakers how to manage difficult conversations biblically.

God and the Persecuted

A series on SAT-7 PARS helps Iran’s growing house churches “develop techniques of endurance” to persevere through widespread persecution.

Free Souls

The church in North Africa has grown significant in recent years. Yet many still worship together in secret or are isolated unable to attend a church. Broadcasting in the Kabyle language, SAT-7 ARABIC is now ministering to North Africans through Free Souls, a documentary series featuring Algerian Christians’ testimonies.

Four Seasons

This discipleship program is aimed at North African women who may have few or no opportunities for Christian fellowship. It is presented by three women in an intimate living room-style setting and particularly aims to help illiterate women.

First Step

Experiences

In this program, the presenters seek to give answers to the challenges Iranian women face today by looking to the example of women in the Bible. Topics have included: how godly women can bring hope in hopeless situations; respecting those who are different; and the role of love in marriage.

Bible Teachings

SAT-7 provides curriculum based Bible Teaching programs for those across the Middle East & North Africa who are in church leadership or who have a thirst to learn more but have no access to formal bible training.

Bible Heroes

In this popular live game show, hosts Karen and Elie introduce a figure from the Bible and invite viewers to call in to answer questions and win prizes. At the end of the show, they give viewers a Bible passage to read in preparation for the next episode.

Bedtime Stories

Bedtime Stories has been running for many years and is still as popular with the young viewers as when it first went on air.
